Hiding out 'til sunrise

Tala hugged Vanessa again closing her eyes. "Yup, working for Nucleo must half...kill him..." she yawn.

Vanessa stroked her head "do you want me to go? so you can go back to your dorm and sleep?"

"No...I don't want you to go...I just met you..." she said tears filling her eyes as she tightened her grip she didn't want to loose her mother after so long of looking for her she didn't want to let go.

Vanessa smiled and hugged her daughter "ok...i won't leave until i have to.."

Tala loosened her grip as she soon fell asleep in her mother's embrace.

Vanessa picked her up and turned to petey "would you please show me to her dorm?" she asked the pidgeot politely

Petey gave a nod, being a gentleman Pidgeot he was happy to comply. He began to lead Vanessa through the hallway.

Vanessa followed with Tala in her arms and drco at her side

He led her to a dorm next to Nat and Narri's. "Pidge pidgo oto! (In here Madame Vanessa!)" he said streatching a wing to invite her into the room.

"thank you very much" Draco kissed his mother on the cheek "i can't go in,boys aren't allowed in girls dorms". Vanessa nodded as he walked away. she crried Tala to her bed in the dorm and put her on it she sat down next to the bed and put a blanket over her daughter

Tala stirred slightly, "Mama..." she mutter beyond human hearing. Petey and Band when to her side Band jumping onto the bed.

Vanessa stroked her head "it's okay baby...im right here!" she whispered gently

Tala let out a groan as she slept. "Hey miss Vanessa we're boys and we're allowed in why's he not?" Band asked quietly curling up next to Tala.

"well,human boys aren't allowed in" she giggled "some girls get a bit embarassed!"

"Why? That's stupid? Is it because they're modest or something?" Band groaned.

"I'll never understand humans! Especially the females!" Band groaned shaking his head. "Are you going to leave?"

"not tonight...i'll wait until morning at least"

"At leaste she could say goodbye, unlike when she was young, I can't stand the crying and cuddling, she almost crushes me with hugs!" Band groaned.

Vanessa giggled

"She has a deadly grip! I wonder where that came from?" "Pidge pidgeo oto! (I bet she got it from Madame Vanessa!)" Petey said "Who asked for your opinion bird breain?!" Band growled about to start an arguement.

vanessa put her hand between them "now now! let's not start this while shes asleep!" she told them gently

Petey nodded in agreement with Vanessa, being a gentleman he didn't want to make a scene. "If you want to make her really relaxed open the shootingstar locket, the music soothes her," Band said voicing Petey's thoughts.

Vanessa looked at the locket and gasped,recognising it on sight "hm...draco.."

"Fossil told me Draco wanted her to have it along with a ring she put on the chain!" Band said referring to Vanessa's wedding ring on the chain.
