Hiding out 'til sunrise

"Tala do you have spare brown contact lenses? Nat's eyes haven't went back to normal yet!" Narri asked. "Yeah!" Tala said pulling out a case of boxes of contact lenses "Dark, choclate, light or oak brown?" "Do you have Nat brown?" "Coco brown then here?" Tala said handing Narri a pair of contacts. Narri took them and walked out as Tala put the case.

Vanessa smiled "well you're very prepared!"

"Yep, all of my friends usually need stuff to make themselves look normal, besides I like to desgui- dress up!" Tala said with a giggle remembering how she likes to snoop around. Band woke up looking at them "Morning, now are you two going to keep yacking because if you are, wake up fancy feathers first." Band groaned.

Vanessa giggled

"Fancy feath...oh! Petey wake up!" Tala said poking the bird's cheek. Petey opened his eyes shaking his head and streatching his wings. "Pidge pidgeot pid pidge! (Good morning fair maiden and Band!)" he said nuzzling Tala. "Do you understand pokemon speach?" Tala asked.

"actually i do! I've been able to since i was young" she said with a smile

"That makes things easier! So do you wanna call uncle Darcy I have him on my pokegear!" Tala asked with a smile.

Vanessa looked down "well....d'you think maybe you could talk to him for a bit first? I have to figure out what i have to say" she clutched her shoulders nervously

Tala gave a nod calling her Uncle Darcy. "Goodmorning Tala, did you sleep in, you usually call at 7:30. Well dear how have you been?" Darcy asked. "Good morning, yeah I slept in but kidnapped by team Genesis Ninjas and staying up all night can do that to you! I've been good, have you heard any news?" "No, no but Merri said she misses your help at the ranch and Petey's manners. Actually I thinks she's even missing Band's distructivness!" he laughed "Ryuu and Kaida miss you, and Merri sent the egg and a present for you! And Kerri said that you just need to perciveer with Relic!" "That's what I'm doing..." Tala sighed looking to see if Vanessa wanted to talk yet.

Vanessa shrugged in a "i don't mind" fashion

"Is someone there Tala?" "Uh, yeah, here." she said passing the pokegear to Vanessa. Darcy took a look at Vanessa and had a shocked expression not knowing what to say.

Vanessa gave him a smile,although tears were filling her eyes

"Vanessa is that you? Is my baby sister safe and sound right before my eyes?" he muttered shocked.

Vanessa wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded

"I..i'm fine...I..." Tears were running down her face as all she wanted right now was to be in the arms of her big brother,this feeling took her breath away.

"Vanessa, you do remember you have a home here with us in Ecruteak! If you ask I'm sure Petey will bring you home!" Darcy said gently. "Your room is just the same as you left it, except it's tidy!" he chuckled.

Vanessa gave him a bit of a giggle as she wiped the tears from her eyes,but they just kept filling up with tears.

Tala walked over to her mother hugging her. "Is there anything you want me to get for when you arrive? Y'know dinner requests, anything done for your room or anything like that?" Darcy asked as his shiny Umbreon popped up "Umbreo? (Vanessa?)" she asked.

"umbreon! oh! just a sec!" she said letting her espeon out "epseo?(darcy?)" she giggled hugging Tala back. she thought about the dinner and room thing "hmmmm.....surprise me!"

"So one more thing, will Petey bring you over or do you want me to come pick you up?" "Umbre Umbreon um? (Sis how are you?)"

Vanessa knew what to say this time "could....could you maybe come and get me? i want to see you...as soon as..." "espe?.... espeo es?(sis?.... is that you?)"

"Right, I'll be there by lunch-" "Dad is that Aunt Vanessa? Tell her Im off to the shop with Kerri and she'll have some new clothes in her wardrobe!" Merri called "Bye dad!" Kerri called. "Did you catch that?" "Umb! Umbre Umbreon Umbre Umbreon! (Yup! I can wait for you to come see the rest of the family our brothers have become a Flareon and a Leafeon!)"

"espe!? espe espe yon! espe!(really!? that's really good! i can't wait!)" Vanessa chuckled "yes i did catch that! tell the girls thank you very much for me!" Vanessa wiped tears from her eyes
