Haru's First Lesson

Haru wanders over to a door where he'd been told where the breed classes take place. He takes a deep breath then opens the door slowly, he notices that nearly all the seats are taken and their was only two spare. One was next to a girl who seemed to look like she was asleep, and the other was next to a guy who was talking to someone behind him. He didn't want to disturb the boys conversation so he treaded slowly to the seat next to the girl.

Hearing someone approach Helen lazily opened one eye to see a boy sit next to her. She wondered why he chose to sit next her and soon realised that the class had actually filled up during her slumber. Helen decided to take another look at the boy beside her. He seemed fairly normal for a trainer but there was something about him that told Helen that this guy would be a great breeder....'DAMN!' Helen thought, 'How long have i been staring at this guy, if i don't say something soon he's going to think i'm a creep...' working up the courage Helen managed to say "Hi."

Haru laughs quietly to himself "took ya' time" he looks at her with his blue eyes "what was with the staring anyway?" he looks at her, wide-eyed.

"Huh? Oh that..." Helen replied nervously, "I was just sleepy, i was waiting for my eyes to adjust." Helen hoped that would be enough of an explanation, he had woken her afterall. Man his eye's are blue thought Helen "So are you new? i haven't seen you in this class before...or anywhere in the academy for that matter."

"Oh...okay then" he looks to the floor and blushes. He then looks at the girl again "yeah, i'm new" he smiles at her "what's your name anyway?"

"Helen, it's an okay name i guess. Yours?" Helen said whilst staring at the board at the front of the class, she seemed anxious about something.

"Ahh, Haru" he smiles and then looks at the girls face, she had an odd expression on her face "urr...nice to meet you!" he held out his hand.
