Ace just managed to dodge it and used Close Combat on Instinct.

Close Combat hit Instict landing lots of damage but she was still up using Razor Wind.

Razor Wind hit but being a normal type move didn't have much effect. Ace then used Close Combat one last time.

It hit and caused Instinct to faint. Tala ran to her pokemon's side before putting Instinct in a pokeball. "Good Battle, but she needs rest. I won't lose next time!" Tala said with a determind tone.

"That good, that you're determined now let's watch Rikki and Red!" Aaron said walking I've to watch the othe two battle.

Tala gave a nod and walked over watching Red and Rikki's battle.

Red got set with his pokemon Scizor

"scizor,huh..that settles it then!" Rikki took out a heal ball with a heart seal on it "come on out cascade!" she threw the pokebal in the air to reaveal a shiny ninetales "lucky i swapped turtwig for her at profeesor elm's" she thought to herself "k red! hit me with your best shot!" Cascade got into position

"Scizor sandstorm" Scizor created a sandstorm that started to circle scizor and Ninetales Scizor then used the Sandstorm to power up its X-scissor as it charged at ninetales at fearful speed

Rikki smiled devilishly "use your tail" Nintales used it's tail to absob some of the power from the sandstorm and used ot's tail to protect itself from X-scizor and push scizor back "sunny day go!" The sun started blazing down on them.

Red gave a smirky smile "Douse that sunny day with Rain Dance" Scizor cause the sun to dissapear and rain to pour down he then used X-Scissor once again

"on it's back!" Ninetales go onto scizor's back "overheat!" Ninetales jumped off of scizor's back and hit it with a powerdul overheat and landed in front of Rikki

Scizor gained an element of power as he grabbed ninetalead by a tail and used close combat to even the battle

Nine tales got up "right then ninetales, fire blast!" Ninetales scored a direct hit with fire blast

Scizor was not gonna give up with both of them on there last string he charged forward and used close combat causing fireworks to shoot round the arena

Ninetales got into a position "giga impact!" Ninetales chared through the fireworks,making the giga impact sparkle and came charging at scizor

The contact between the 2 moves caused an eruption of light as the light ended both pokemon were standing completely still waiting for the other to fall

Ashley bit her lip with the tension

Tala clenched her fists with anticipation.

IC:Scizor got down on one knee knowing he was defeated

Rikki looked a bit baffled, but snapped out of it and gave her Nintales a hug. she handed a sitrus berry to Red's scizor "you did brilliant, don't be disheartened!" Rikki gave both pokemon and trainer a warm smile Ashley walked to beside red "i don't think i've felt this sort of anticipation in my life!" she said with a shudder and a laugh

"Scizor Congrats"Red put scizor in his pokeball and sat down a bit tired from the battle itself
