Tala gave a nervous nod and thankful smile. "Thanks Red!" she said.

Red looked back to rikki "We gonna do practice battles?"

"yup!" She held up a container full of coloured pieces of paper "what i have here are all your names on bit of paper" rikki counted the students and there were 5 "since there's an odd number, one of you is gonna battle me, Tala,Red and Kelly, come and pick a piece of paper, the name you get on the paper will be your opponent! I'll be battling the odd one out BUT i'll be taking a look round to see how you're doing as well! Are we clear?"

OOC: you guys can choose who you battle

Red picked up a piece of paper "Looks like thats me rikki"

Tala gave a nod and let out a groan. "Me and Aaron!" she groaned.

Red laughed a bit

"Fine, that means Ashley's with Kelly," Aaron said walking I've to Tala. "After class can I have a word with you?" he asked her.

"Uh, sure but let's get class over first!" Tala said patting Instinct on the head.

Ashley walked towards kelly and tryed to put their rivalries aside "wierd seeing us battling together rather than dancing eh?" She said with a slight laugh. Rikki looked to red "so then.. you send your pokemon out first!"

Tala gave a smile to the thought of battle and let Instinct step forward for battle.

IC: Ashley tried again "so...single or double battle?"

"Single, let's go R!" Kelly grumbled as her Rufflet sat on her shoulder.

Ashley took out a pokeball "let's give it a bit of beginner's luck!" She gave the pokeball a small kiss "eevee!" She threw the pokeball up in the air "front and center!" The pokeball had a bubble seal on it and eevee popped the bubbles with her tail and landed gracefully

R jumped down ready for a fight. "R use Areal ace!" Kelly called the little Rufflet then began to use Areal ace.

"eevee,iron tail!" Eevee countered with iron tail which also stole the light and power from the arial ace, eevee whacked R with it's tail, knocking it almost into kelly's arms

"R fly up high and use Sky Drop!" Kelly called.

"hehe" Ashley pointed to eevee "protect!"

R hit the shield and was knocked to the ground causing him to faint.

Ashley looked shocked for a minute and then smiled "yes!" Eevee ran into her arms and cuddled up to her "eevee,you're the best!" she held a hand out to kelly "R did real good!" She said with a smile

"Don't expect us to be so easily defeated again!" Kelly hissed.

Ashley smiled akwardly and walked over to in between the 2 remaining matchups

Instinct's battle with Ace was well under way as Instinct's future sight was hurdling toward the Heracross.
