Exam Part Two

Shi nodded and smiled. She went over toward Steven.

"Okay, you really wanna challenge me?"

Steven realizes his Swampert is still unconscious. He walks over to him and gives him a full revive.

Then, since Shi apparently does want to fight, he reaches for a yellow and red pokeball on his belt. He throws it and his Charmeleon appears.

Shi grabs a few Pokeballs, and returns most of her Pokemon. The only ones left were Milotic and Furret.

"Okay, so it's two on two. You're first."

Shi and her Pokemon braced themselves.

Steven quickly returns his Swampert. He had just been giving him a moment to recover. He wanted to use someone else for a fight.

"Go, Chikorita"

Chikorita appears by Charmeleon, but immedietly backs away a bit.

Charmeleon, raise his head towards the sky, and breaths a small tendril of fire. The sun's rays suddenly becomes much brighter.

The leaf of Chikorita's head starts to glow, and she stays back.

"Torchic, Flamethrower on that Vigoroth! Munchlax, body slam the Hondour!"

*Hm.......* Shi thought to herself, *What should I do?*

Shi knew Chikorita could easily take out Milotic.

"Milotic, Water Pulse on Charmeleon. Furret, Quick attack on Chikorita!"

Miltoic and Furret did as they were told. She hoped she could make it through this battle.

"Both of you dodge."The pokemon did as they were told to do."Houndour use a strong fire spin on munchlax, Vigoroth use a slash on Torchick."gb

"Charmeleon, DragonBreath!"

Charmeleon attacked Furret, hitting it and stopping it from getting Chikorita. He gets a full on blow from Water pulse though and is knocked down. He quickly recovers, panting, and stares at the Milotic.

((OOC:In case you weren't aware, Dragon Breath is a paralyzing attack.))

"Torchic, dodge using dig! Munchlax, re-attack using Brick Break!"

OOC: I love TMS!!

"Hmmm, Houndour dodge and counter attack with flame thrower. Vigoroth use slash on Munchlax also."Both pokemon got direct hits.

Shi looked determined. *Hmm......... he knows his tactics.*

Shi used a paralyze heal on Furret. She then said "Use attract on Charmeleon!"

Milotic used Attract on Charmeleon and she hoped it would work.

Darn it.

Chikorita jumps into the air, and releases Solar Beam on Milotic.

Steven takes out a pink flute and starts to play. Charmeleon recovers from attract.

"Torchic Fire Blast on the Vigoroth! Munchlax, attack the Hondour with METRONOME!"


Torchic's attack hit the Vigoroth, and Munchlax's metronome turned out to be DIG.

Milotic is hit straight on and is knocked back. Shi worried she worked it too hard. She looked towards it and it sat back up, ready to fight. *Wow, she's tough.* Shi thought about Milotic.

"Furret, Slam on Chikorita!" Shi said. She noticed Milotic really wanted to battle. *Okay, brace yourself.* "Miotic, use Twister on Chikorita!" Shi didn't think it would work very well, if it did at all.

OOC: I read in this book, and Charmeleon doesn't know Dragonbreath.

"Vigoroth use double punch. Houndour use bite on Torchick." Both of the attacks worked perfectly. Torchick fainted from being Bitten and punched 3 times.

OOC: But he can be taught it through a TM.

IC: Chikorita barely holds on after being ganged up on. As a last attempt, she grabs Furret with Vine whip and throws him at Milotic.

Since the other pokemon were distracted, Charmeleon dug and made a tunnel under Milotic.

"Munchlax! Attack now!"

Munchlax attacks Hondour from underground, using dig.

"Now, attack it with a Brick Break!"

Hondour stumbles a bit, and faints.

"HOUNDOUR!!!"Doreto grabbed Houndour."Vigoroth use slash for Houndour."All of a sudden Vigoroth exploded at munchlax and slashed it to and munchlax fainted.

OOC: Oh.....

IC: *Wow..........* Shi thought and knew she couldn't beat Steven. She was thinking of attacks that couldn't be avoided well. Shi got it.

"Milotic, jump into the air and when you see the tunnel, use Surf!" Shi shouted. "Furret, go onto the other side of the tunnel and use strength to push a boulder over the entry way!" Shi thought it was really complicated, but he Milotic flew into the air and got ready. Furret rushed to the other side and started to move a boulder over the entry way. *I have him now!*

"Vigoroth exploded...meaning it's a draw, I think..."

OOC- no that means he got really mad and fainted munchlax

OOC: Meaning you won...barely.

"Adieu."

Charmeleon digs out of the ground and runs away from the water. If his tail was quenched he would die. For once in the pokemon world, literally. Chikorita uses Bulletseed and knocks Furret unconscious.
