Letters and a phone call

"Tristan...what happened, do you want to talk about it?" she asked with a quiet gentle voice.

Tristan showed her the letter, summing up that Adam Samuel Freeman had been shot and killed in a raid of a Team Genesis hideout.

Tala looked shocked then got mad. "I'm goanna kill that Nucleo if it's the last thing I do! He's gone too far!" Tala growled.

Tristan scrunched the letter up and threw it over the room to the bin. "So who was it that wanted to see me?" He said, fighting off his tears.

"It was my mum and Uncle Darcy but it's alright, if you don't wanna talk right now! They understand." Tala said her voice gentle again.

"It's okay, I can talk now" He sniffed, walking to the booth.

"Hi mum, Uncle Darcy! This is Tristan my boyfriend!" Tala said. Darcy looked at him then shrugged "With the way Ryuu was talking I was getting worried there but he seems alright..." he finally said. Tala slapped her forehead with a groan.

Vanessa slapped her forehead "Darcy,it's just Ryuu!" she turned to them and gave them a gentle smile "it's nice to meet you tristan! I'm Vanessa,Tala's mother,and this is her uncle Darcy!" she said pointing to her older brother

Tristan waved, saying [colir=#00ff00] "Hey, nice to meet you Vanessa!" [/color] Brushing his hair out of his eyes.

"Since when does anyone listen to Ryuu he's so dumb to raise his iq to 1 he needs to stand on a chair! I swear a rock has more communicating brain cells than Ryuu!" she groaned.

Vanessa giggled

Tristan giggled and asked, "Who's Ryuu?" He brushed a tear off of his cheek, but he wasn't sure whether it was from laughter or sadness.

"My cousin!" Tala answered simply as a boy in his late teens early twenties walked over with blue hair and eyes. "What's an IQ? In sure I have one of 5... That's high right?" he asked.

"Intelligence Quotient. And no, an IQ of 5 is very very small!" He said to the newcomer.

Vanessa slapped her forehead "oh good grief!" she said with an awkward chuckle

"Inter...I'm going to look those up in thE dictionary now where did I put it?" "That's the thing you use as a coaster for your cups!" Tala groaned. "Right bye!" Ryuu waved as he left.

Vanessa chuckled a bit

Tristan raised his eyebrows, and asked "So that was Ryuu? He didn't seem the sharpest tool in the shed..."

"He isn't e's only good at using tools, getting girls and battling but that about it... And to think I'm related to him!" Tala sighed.

Vanessa put an arm arm around Darcy "it's hard to think he's your son eh?" She said with a chuckle

"Doesn't seem possible." He said, wondering what he would look like with blue hair.

"It not his looks more what he says trust me!" Tala giggled.

Just then, a new letter arrived for Tristan. He went to the counter to collect it, and it was sealed with a wax seal. He lightly pulled it open and his eyes widened at the news. As a result of his brother's death, along with his whole squad, a Reconissance ream had been put together to find the Hideout, and take Heat, normal and Infra-Red pictures of the hideout. He was on the squad.

"Something wrong Tristan?" she asked.

"I have to go in a few days." He said, not wanting to say anything that could worry her.
