4 days til the dance contest

After finishing the first practice,andre put a hand on Ashley's shoulder "you sure you're okay with this one?" Ashley panted for a minute and turned to him "as long as i get practice,i'll be fine!"

Tala walked in "Hey guys, thought of a song yet? I only have a few days to record it y'know!" she called.

André held up a casette "it's ok, my cousin beat ya to it!" He chuckled "sorry Tala.."

"Aww, no fair you guys left me hanging till last minute!" she pouted. "Oh well next time!" she giggled as Band popped up on her shoulder.

Ashley pointed to André "his fault!" Andre messed up her hair

"I never liked that boy..." Tala said with her arms folded talking like a protective parent or sibling as a joke. "So Andre, head, an arm or a leg?"

Andre raised an eyebrow and slanted his head "uh.....arm?"

"Alright stay there to I get Narri's sword to cut off your arm!" she called turning towalk out.

Ashley Flinched. Andre raised an eyebrow "you're kiddin' right?"

Tala pulled out Narri's sword turning round "Do I look like I'm kidding?"

"JESUS!!" He hid behind Ashley "uh,tala? If you do that,i'm left with no dance partner!" she said with an akward smile

Tala sheathed the sword "Jeez, of course I was joking, who do you think I am the Grim Reaper or worse Narri?!" Tala said with a giggle.

Andre laughed a bit. Ashley sighed with relief

"I can't believe you thought I was serious!" Tala laughed even Band gave a snigger "This girl have never been serious a single day of her life!" he laughed not thinking.

Ashley wagged her finger at band,knowing he may be in trouble. Andre stood next to Ashley "it's just me,i got a bit of a fear of swords!"

Tala gave a nervous laugh "Hey guys, do you think I'm a good vintriliquist?" she said trying to cover up that Band had spoke.

"nice try...band spoke...." They both said in sync

"Yeah right Band has a brain so small you can't find it on an cat-scan! There's no way he has the intelligence to talk!" Tala said, as Band gave a goffey smile fighting the urge to scratch her.

Ashley giggled and gave Tala a wink

'Did they buy it?' she thought looking serious. "So can I see this routine?" she asked trying to change the subject.

Ashley spoke to Tala through telepthy "don't worry about it,i understand!" "uh....sure,still needs a bit of work though...."

"Hey I can listen to your cousin's music!" she said "Too bad I had just talked Draco into playing the violin for it too!"

Ashley giggled as andre took her by the wrist and lead her to the middle of the gymnasium.

Tala looked at the duo thinking they looked really cute.

Ashley and andre began with the pas de deux,with music almost the same as the London festival orchestra and Ashley's jumps being much higher than any normal ballet dancer twice her age.
