Curious day

Tala Jett and Instinct were wandering the grass lands looking to see some pokemon, when they seen what they though was a Scyther. Curious the group went to investigate when they bumped into a trainer.

Hana had been rolling around in the grass and play fighting with her Arcanine. She popped her head up into view due to hearing a noise. "Tala?...Tala!" she yelled as she jumped up, brushing some dirt from her Air Force uniform and adjusting the green and white ski goggles that were around her neck.

"Sorry Hana I thought we seen a Scyther." Jett looked at Hana in her uniform questioningly."This is Jett the buizel that saved my kitchen from my sister's baking attempt...Jett this is Hana my friend."

"Nice to meet ya Jett!". Hana's Arcanine, Fang, bowed his head at the girl and her Pokémon in respect. "Well we saw some Pokémon a few minutes ago, we didn't see a Scyther though"".

"Oh my, it's one of few bug types I haven't got on my pokedex...Hey I seen something odd over there earlier, do you wanna go check it out with me?" Tala suggested.

"Sure" Hana replied, pulling her goggles over her eyes.

With a smile Tala headed west towards a big willow tree.

Hana followed her in a James Bond-like fashion, moving stealthily whilst being comedic.

When they got to the tree Tala seen a bright light hidden among the branches. "What do you think it is?" Tala asked.

She leaned over slightly to inspect it. "Well my guess is that it's a Pokémon but to heck with it, let's go investigate!".

With a sharp nod Jett slung from Tala's shoulder as she began to climb. Instinct leaped from branch to branch to make sure they were stable.

Hana nodded to her Arcanine and took a swing for a low branch. Being pretty flexible, she was a natural at this sort of thing and as hopping through the treetops was one of her interests she found scaling trees an easy task to accomplish.

Getting near the shiny object Tala reached in to get it when something came flying out at them and then used Silver Wind.

With a shout of surprise, Hana fell out of the tree and luckily landed on her Pokémon's back. "Looks like it was a Pokémon after all!" she huffed.

"Look again! It's not the Pokemon but around it's side! It's a thick chain and I think it's in pain!" Tala called slipping from the branch she now clung onto. It was a Scyther and it used Gust causing Tala andJett to fall.

Hana jumped out of the way as her Arcanine caught Tala, just as he did with Hana. "How're we gonna get that chain thing off of it?" Hana quizzed.

"We're goanna have to knock it out! Although I feel bad about it..." Instinct leaped out of the tree using Razor Wind and Jett jumped into the air using Sonic Boom.

Fang decided to help by using flamethrower on the Scyther.

"Sorry Scyther but...Instinct use Perish Song and don't stop until I say! And Jett Water Gun wet it's wings so it can't fly!" Tala called. The Water Gun hit Scyther's wings and it fell to the ground. Then Instict used Perish Song the music notes giving damage to the already injured Scyther.

Hana and Fang took a step back and let the Pokémon get on with it. Fang wasn't a big fan of the whole idea so went to go and stand beside his trainer.

Perish Song took Scyther down. Tala immediately ran over to Scyther to check on it."Other than the chain and the attacks I don't see any other form of injury. I wonder how we'll take it off though...? It looks like something they would wear for extreme pokemon racing, poor thing..." Tala said looking up to Hana.
