A New Friend

Lindsey was walking through the grass, her Buneary on her shoulder.

"You see Buneary," She says. "Many contests require two Pokemon out at a time. So we are going to look for a new friend!"

Buneary nodded. "Bun, Buneary!" All of a sudden, Lindsey hears a rustling behind her, and turns around to see a Snivy stride out.

"Look Buneary, a Snivy!" she whispered. "Alright, use pound Buneary!" Buneary leaped off of Lindsey's shoulder and smacked the small grass Pokemon.

The Snivy stumbled, and then it got mad. It shot out a frenzy of razor leaf. Buneary couldn't dodge so quickly, and was hit.

"Hang in there Buneary!" Lindsey called out. "Use ice beam!" Buneary shot a cold beam out of her mouth, freezing the Snivy in place.

"Perfect!" Lindsey cheered. She threw a pokeball, absorbing the small Pokemon. After a couple shakes, it clicked, and she now had a new friend.

(This is so cool,specially sense I have a freind named lindsey who seems like the perfect partner for a buneary,can I join?)

(Sure Comy. Us students should stick together. )

(Thanks ) Comy walked over and spotted the trainer and her pokemon."Hey,I'm Comy!"She called,walking over to them and extending her hand for Lindsey to shake.

"Hi, I'm Lindsey." She replied, shaking Comy's hand.

"This is my partner, Buneary. And this is my new friend!" she said excitedly, tossing a pokeball.

Snivy popped out. "Sniv..." He yawned, tired from the battle earlier.

Snivy trotted over to Comy, curious about the stranger.

Comy nodded and looked down at the tired pokemon.She bent down and reached out a hand onto Snivy's head and healed the pokemon.

"Whoa!" Lindsey gasped. "How did you do that? I've never seen someone with an ability like

that!"

"Thanks,"Comy said,standing up."I guess i was...born with it.I dunno how it works."

"Oh." Lindsey replied. "Speaking of not knowing, I am clueless to any contest combinations i

could make with these two. Got any tips for a rookie?" She asked.

Comy thoght for a second. her mother is a top coordinater,so she was a little experienced."Does your buneary know ice beam?"She asked finally,forming an idea.

'Yeah," Lindsey nodded. "That's what helped me catch Snivy. Any ideas with Ice Beam?" She asked.

Comy nodded,"This snivy seems well trained,and well trained snvies usually know attract.Try having Snivy use attract,buneary use ice beam on the hearts,buneary use pound on the frozen hearts and jumping from one to another,which should make the hearts give off pink and crystal blue sparkles,then have snivy jump up and spin in the air. That shold make snivy be spinning in the air,surounded by the sparckles,"She said.she looked at Lidnesy,"Confusing?Sorry,"

"It's ok," Lindsey replied. "I think i got it. The sparkles would make my Pokemon shimmer,

giving me more points." She returned Snivy to it's pokeball. "And i have an idea for an

attacking move. Snivy could use razor leaf, then as the leaves fly towards the opponent,

Buneary could freeze them! It could deal twice the damage, and would shimmer as it flew."

"Yeah! and it would be very affective on a ground type,wich is weak against both ice and grass! just dont use it if ya ever fight my mom's mamouswine,"Comy said,remembering what happens when mamouswine gets mad.
