The Dance

Hana walked through the cafeteria doors, wearing a short white dress with a black sash around the waist and black decorative flowers at the bottom. She clipped a black and white spotty ribbon in her hair and sighed, glancing at her over-protective Pokémon. She made her way to a table and sat down, waiting for people she knew to turn up.

Harley showed up wearing a ripped old suit and a straw hat.

"Howdy Hana! How are ya?"

"Eh, bored" she mumbled quietly. "The only reason I came here is cause of this loon". She pointed at Tsunade who was busy staring out the window. "And she made me wear this ugly dress. Ugh".

"Naw, it's pretty snazzy if I do say so meself." Harley said as he took off his hat and picked out tiny peices of loose straw.

"I don't know what you see in it..." she muttered as she flicked the sash in annoyance. "Say, do y'know if anyone else we know is gonna show up?".

"What's wrong flower?" Harley asked with wide eyes.

"You know maybe we should dance, that'll cheer ya up?"

Hana quickly glanced at Tsunade and then back at Harley. "I don't wanna be here" she whispered to him. "Emily and Jay might turn up, and I don't even want to be near them".

"I just...well, something happened the other day. And I don't really wanna talk about it. Let's just say me and Emily were having another spat and Jay butted in and...uh, said something" she sighed. "Ah, I just realised that I have no reason to hate Emily, so...I guess it's just Jay I hate. Ugh, inconsiderate-" she rambled on, stamping her foot violently.

Hana broke away from Harely's grip and stared at Red. "Dude, you weren't even here the day it happened. How are you supposed to know?".
