Jay popped his head around one of the doors, lazily scanning the hallway for any familiar faces. He sighed and twiddled the toothpick in his mouth as he swung the door open fully and took a couple of steps, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

Tristan was walking, slowly, to nowhere in particular, when he spotted a newcomer. "Hey mate, ain't seen you around recently."

Jay turned his head and stared at him wearily. "Hey...Uh, say, do you know anyone called Hana Sikora or Emily Harrison? Hana's small, Emily's tall. And one of em's probably wearing ski goggles" he mumbled as he threw the toothpick into a near-by bin.

Greg was walking to class when he saw a boy and Tristan, the boy was asking for Emily and Hana. Greg walked over to him.

"Yeah, I think Hana would be in trainer class right about now... I don't know where Emily is, possibly where Hana is?"

"Yeah, what Greg said... What's your name, mate, I'm Tristan." Tristan said as he smiled at the newcomer.

"Thanks kid" he said as he smiled at Greg. "Oh, and the name's Jay. I'm Emily's twin brother, and Hana's cousin" He said as he grabbed his Snivy's pokéball out of his pocket and released him.

"Wait... Were you in the heli that picked Hana up?" Tristan Asked.

"Mhm. Wait...were you the kid who we were talking to through the transceiver?" he grinned as he put another tooth pick in his mouth.

Jay smirked and looked at his Snivy who had his arms crossed impatiently. "Okay Snipe, calm down. Sorry about this, he wants to go explore. Say, I heard there's a lake here, right? I'm gonna go try and find it".

"Uuh yeah, it's over thata way..." Tristan said as he pointed to the lake.

Jay nodded and began to follow the direction. "Thanks. Oh, and if you see Hana or Emily, could you please tell em I'm at the lake?" he asked, letting his Pokémon lead him away.

Annalease walked around the corner and hugged torchic close. it was her first year at the pokemon trainer acadamy and she didnt know anyone. she sighed and looked at her torchick and smiled. "this is were it all begans torchic. were gonna be the best we can be okay?" torchic nodded in responce. she smiled down at it. "i wonder were the dorms are?"
