Checking up on things anda few surprises....

Draco jumped in the way,eyes still hidden, and fell to the ground after taking the aura sphere

"Draco!! What the hell?! You're sick Cyto! To do that to anyone, but a child?! You have a cheek to call yourself a woman a person with a motherly instinct you should be ashamed!!" she called in anger.

Cyto sniggered "Everyone is different,Tala!" she said taking a dagger from her pocket and hiding it behind her back

"That instinct always says the same for every female!" she retorted.

Cyto smirked and took the dagger from behind her back

Tala went wide eyed frightened but didn't move.

Cyto threw the dagger in Tala's direction,a shaded figure stepped in front of her and the dagger landed in his shoulder

Tala looked to see who it was.

Nucleo knelt to the ground.he took the dagger from his shoulder and threw it to the ground "....damn"

"D- pops?" Tala muttered confussed.

Nucleo turned to her with a warm smile

Tala shook her head and went to his side "What the- why?"

"But... You don't know me. Why would you do that? It's stupid!" she groaned trying not to cry, too many were hurt today, it was so unfair. Family, friends, the people she cared about most were all getting hurt today.

Nucleo put his hand on her shoulder "don't you remember what we talked about? back in my office?"

Tala gave a nod fighting back her tears.

Nucleo cupped her cheek with his hand "i couldn't protect you before...but if that's the case,i will now!"

Tala gave a nod, wanting to cry.

Nucleo clutched his shoulder and hunched a bit in pain

Nucleo shook his head "maybe...if things were different..."

Tala gave a sad smile, "If things were different?"

"i could've been with you....i could've just let go of everything else..." he hid his eyes

Tears fell down her face, she wanted to hug him and cry but she didn't want to hurt him.

Ashley got up and started fighting Cyto again. Nucleo knew what Tala was thinking, he opened his arms and gave her a gentle smile "it's ok...come on,it won't hurt!"
