Shi vs. Doreto

Shi had challenged Doreto to battle earlier, and he of course said yes. She stepped onto the field and it looked just like the grassland.

"Hmmm......... seems so weird, as if I'm still taking the exam."

Shi thought for a moment, then the entire field changed into the inside of a building. It looked just like a Pokemon gym.

"Is this good?" Shi asked Doreto, seeing if he wanted it like that.

"Yep." Doreto sent out Houndour.

Shi grabbed a random Pokeball and threw it. A Houndour stood there.

"Whoops, I forgot my sister wanted me to watch her Pokemon....."

Shi returned the Houndour and let out Furret.

"Okay, you go first."

"Houndour use flame thrower." Houndour did as he was told.

"Furret, dodge!" Shi shouted. Furret dodged, but his tail was hit.

"Furret, us Extreme Speed!"

Furret used his attack, and hit Houndour. *Not powerful enough* Shi thought.

"Houndour use bite." Houndour bit furret.

Shi gasped. Furret looked really hurt, but looked at Shi like he wanted to battle more.

"Okay Furret. Use Strength!"

Furret jumped into the air and pounded Houndour into the ground. It looked like it was about to faint, but didn't.

"You okay Houndour." Houndour gave a low howl, a sign that he was fine. "Okay use fire spin."

Shi saw the attack coming straight towards Furret.

"Furret, jump!"

Furret jumped up and the attack missed him.

"Okay, use slash!"

Furret used slash right on Houndours face. It rocked a bit, but stood it's gorund.

*Strong Houndour* Shi thought.

"Houndour use flame thrower again. Houndour didn't miss but didn't get the target perfectly.

Shi gasped again. Furret was lying on the ground.

"Furret!"

Shi started towrds Furret, but it stood up.

"Are you okay?"

Furret nodded.

"Still wanna battle?"

Furret nodded.

"Okay, then use Fury swipes!"

Furret jumped onto Houndour and used fury swipes. He seriously was furious. Furret jumped off and Houndour started falling over. Shi went over and caught it before it fell. Houndour had fainted, but she didn't want it to get too hurt.

"Here you go." Shi said carrying Houndour over to Doreto.

"Thanks. You quiet a strong furret." Doreto said taking Houndour. "You did good buddy."

"You're welcome." Shi said. Furret went over and climbed around Doreto. Soon he came back onto Shi.

"Strong Houndour." Shi said.

Shi went back over to where she was standing and gave Furret some potion.

"Okay, next battle, choose your Pokemon."

"Come on monferno lets show'em what we got." Monferno went to the feild.

"Okay, Furret, use scratch!"

Furret used scratch, but it wasn't very effective.

"Monferno, use fire spin."

"Furret! Jump!"

Furret jumped into the air and the fire spin only got the tip of his tail.

"Furret! You okay?"

Furret nodded.

"Okay, use watergun!"

Furret used watergun, it did much damage to Monferno, but was weak.

(Furret can learn watergun, right?)

(I don't know hmm)
"Monferno jump and use flame thrower." Monferno did as she was told.

Furret just stood there.

"Furret!" Shi shouted.

Furret got hit really hard. When the dust cleared, there was a little hole in the ground.

"Yes!"

Furret jumped out behind Monferno.

"Tackle, now!"

Furret slammed right into Monferno.

Monferno got this red glint in her eye. "Monferno use-" 'Monfernoooo' Monferno used a strong Flame thrower right into furret.

'Furrrretttttttt' Furret fell hard onto the ground. He tried to get up, but fainted.

"Furret!" Shi ran towards Furret. She stroked his soft fur. She looked at Monferno.

"Return, Furret." Furret was returned and she went back to her spot.

"Go Glaceon!"

Glaceon stood there, and braced herself.

"Sorry Monferno isn't my best trained pokemon."

"That's okay. Furret's gonna be fine after a long rest."

Shi thought about something.

"Hmmm.......... Glaceon, use Hydro Pump!"

Glaceon hit Monferno right in the chest. It knocked Monferno back, but he got back up.

"Monferno use Flame thrower." Monferno hit glaceon right in the face.

*Darn it........*

"Glaceon, use Surf!"

Although Glaceon was really weak, she hit Monferno straight on. Monferno flew back and landed hard on it's back. Glaceon landed gently on the ground. Shi noticed that Monferno fainted.

"Yay! Good job, Glaceon."

Shi went over to Monferno. She picked it up and gave it to Doreto.

"Here. Monferno is one tough cookie."

Shi went back to her spot and patted Glaceon on the head.
