Professor oak scratched his head "...good question.." Chordia picked pikachu up "i was gonna say someone dropped it,but then again, it was inside a rock!"

three of the grunts let out a magmar,relicanth and hitmontop

Chordia stood on guard as magmar launched a lava plume at them

All amelies pokemon let out large attacks but they could not withstand the attack itself "Ok plan B RUN!!!"

Chordia and professor oak ran away from them "pikachu return!" She said returning pikachu to his pokeball. A grunt tried to grab the professor, but missed and accidentally took off Chordia's garnet necklace"n-no..." The grunt started playing around with it "sweet!" It begin to glow a dark red as Chordia did the same

Chordia knelt down as she was transforming. Her hair changed from long amd gold to short and light grey, her eyes changed from grey to red,her height increased and her usual outfit changed into a dark red kimono. She stood up and turned to amelie "sorry kid,didn't want you to see me like this..." Professor oak gave her a sympathetic look

Chordia sighed "never mind,i'll explain later..." Chordia held her hands up "you two,cover your ears..."

Chordia sent a pulsing shriek from her hands which was so powerful it knocked the grunts out,she took her garnet necklace from the grunt that took it and put it on,changing her back "whew! much better"

They hurried on running tillfully safe "Chrodia how?"

Chordia looked down a minute,but pulled her head up and gave Amelie a warm smile "you see...my Mother,as improbable as it sounds,was a demon and my father is human,making me half-demon.." she showed amelie the pendant she had just put back on "this pendant keeps my demon form at bay,if it's taken offor broken or if i'm close to death,my demon comes out...and my human form comes out on the last night of the month..." she gave a slight giggle "yeah,complicated huh?"

Chordia gave her a warm smile "i appreciate your concern amelie,but ii really don't mind,i can basically control this form,which i never used to be able to do,as long as i have my pendant.besides...to stop the demon form,my demon blood will have to go and that's literally half of the blood in my body..."
